Jushi India Pvt Ltd, a part of China Jushi Group is planning to set up a manufacturing facility in Talegaon in Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of 0.1 million tonne of fibre glass production unit and the company has signed an MoU in this regard with the state government in 2015.
The company has zeroed on this location considering better availability of raw materials like limestone, silica and china clay in neighbouring Rajasthan. The project cost is estimated at $ 250 million and is likely to go operational by 2020.
