J K Cement is planning to set up a greenfield cement plant in Parewar in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan. The project involves setting up of a clinker production unit of capacity (8.0 million tpa), cement unit of 6.0 million tpa, waste heat recovery boiler unit of capacity 50 MW (2 x 25 MW), oxygen plant, railway siding etc., The project cost is estimated at ₹ 49,430 million for two phases.
