Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd is planning to set up a large scale carbon facility at its cement plant in Tamil Nadu. The company has signed up an MoU with UK based Carbon Clean Solutions (CCSL). The facility which will have a capacity of 5,00,000 tonne.
With this facility, the company plans to become carbon neutral by the year 2040.
