Bharathi Cements commissions 10 MW solar power plant in Kadapa

Bharathi Cement has commissioned a 10 MW ground-mounted solar power plant in its manufacturing facility located at Kadapa Cement plant in Andhra Pradesh. The new solar plant spread across 41 acres will reduce their dependency on Thermal power and will fulfil their internal Solar Renewable Purchase Obligation. It may be noted that, the Vicat Group also engaged Fourth Partner Energy last year to set up a 1 MW Solar plant at its Bharathi Polymers facility.
