About the Company :

Founded by Lala Juggilal Singhania, J K Cement started its cement operations in 1975 at Nimahera plant in Rajasthan with a initial capacity of 0.3 million tpa. The company is also the second largest producer of white cement in Northern India and exports in large quantities to South Africa, Nigeria, Singapore, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Tanzania, UAE and Nepal.

For the last 43 years, the company has been operating in cement industry . JK Cement started operation with the commercial production at its first Grey Cement plant at Nimbahera in Rajasthan in May 1975. Subsequently, the company also set up two more units in Rajasthan at Mangrol and Gotan. The firm installed a captive power plant in Bamania, Rajasthan in 1987. In 2009, the company extended its footprint by setting up a green – field unit in Muddapur, Karnataka giving its access to the markets of south- west India. The company also has a fully automated plant of White Cement based Wall Putty having a production capacity of 3 lakh ton per annum, making it the second largest manufacturer in the category.
