About the Company :

Eco Cements Limited (ECL) was incorporated in May 2007 by Mr Bipin Kumar Agrawal and his family members to set up a grinding unit for
manufacturing of cement. The company was initially engaged in the trading of cement till August 2012.

The grinding unit for manufacturing Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) was commissioned and commercial production commenced from
August 2012 with a total installed capacity of 2,000 tons per day (TPD) {i.e. 6 lakh tons per annum (TPA)} in Bhabua district of Bihar. The
project was commissioned at a total cost of Rs.75 crore funded through a term loan
of Rs.38 crore and the balance through equity.

The manufactured cement was initially marketed by the company under its own brand ‘ECO’ through a network of dealers in the states of
Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. In February 2013, the company entered into an agreement with ACC Ltd (ACC) to supply
its entire cement output to them exclusively for a period of three years .
