About the Company :

Goldstone Cements Limited, incorporated on December, 2007, based in Meghalaya. GCL promoted by Mr Prakash More of the well -known entrepreneurial house, Mayur Plywood, is setting up a clinkerisation unit with production capacity of 1,200 tpd and a 2,040 tpd cement grinding unit to manufacture Pozzolona Portland cement (PPC) and Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) at Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya. The Company has also appointed Mr. Ballentine Shyllaa the local Director for the Plant.

GCL decided to establish a Green field cement manufacturing plant in different phases, wherein, in the 1st phase it is implementing Cement Plant of 2040 TPD and Clinkerization Facility of 1200 TPD at village–Musiang Lamare (Old) , Meghalaya. The cement plant is proposed to be equipped with latest technology and the core equipment is being supplied by the one of World’s most reputed company Thyssenkrupp Industries, Larsen & Toubro etc.,

The Company has also procured limestone mining land measuring 35.11 hectares to cope up with the requirement of limestone required for the cement plant. GCL has also obtained all the necessary statutory clearances & approvals-MoEF Clearance, Pollution Clearance & licence for mining of limestone etc.
