Reliance Cement (Now part of Birla Corp Ltd) is planning to expand its cement unit in Kudanganj in Rae Barielly district of Uttar Pradesh. The project involves setting up of cement production capacity from 2.0 mtpa to 3.2 mtpa.
In December 2018, the company’s board has approved the project which entails an investment of ₹ 2500 million. The project may go operational by 2021.
