Kalyanpur Cements Ltd. is a leading cement manufacturer in eastern India. It runs the only integrated cement manufacturing facility in Bihar and markets its cement in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. The company was established in 1938 and markets its cement under the popular KC Super, KC Special and Castcrete brands. The firm, which was earlier known as Kalyanpur Lime and Cement Works, got its present name with effect from March 9, 1988. The company is located in the Rohtas District of Bihar and it has the manufacturing unit with an installed capacity of 1 million metric tonne per annum. The company’s operations have shown a marked downward after its mining operations were cancelled in 2014. As of January 2018, the company is likely to be taken over by Dalmia Group .
