Barak Valley Cements was promoted by Mr.Prahlad Rai Chamaria, Mr. Bijay Kumar Garodia and Mr. Santosh Kumar Bajaj who had rich experience in different segments of construction materials like plywood, timber, cement and concrete sleepers etc., It markets its produce under the brand ‘Valley Cement’ and it has started its commercial production with an initial capacity of 300 tpd at Joombasti in 2001. It uses dry process rotary kiln technology with 4 stage suspension preheater technology.
