Amrit Cement Industries Ltd was incorporated in 2008 is promoted by entrepreneurs Mr. Pradeep Kumar Bagla, Mr. Gauri Prasad Bagla, Mr. Sunil Kumar Khemka and Mr. Bhalang Singh Phanbuh. ACIL plans to set up an Integrated Greenfield Cement Project at Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya with an installed capacity of 1 Million Tons Per Annum along with a 10 MW captive power plant during phase I of operations. The company is planning to have a capacity of 5 million tpa by 2015-16.
