Shree Cement plans expansion programme of Simga unit

Shree Cement is planning to expand its cement unit in Simga in Balaodabaazar district in Chhattisgarh. The project involves expanding clinker capacity from 3.0 mtpa to 5.2 mtpa, cement production capacity from 5.2 mtpa to 6.0 mtpa, captive power plant capacity from 15 MW to 30 MW. The project also involves setting up of a synthetic gypsum unit. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 10252 million.
