Burnpur Cement is planning to expand its capacity by setting up a greenfield cement plant in West Bengal with an investment of Rs. 5000 million. The new greenfield project will have a capacity of 3.0 million tonne and will be located in Purulia or Bankura and the company is on the process of acquiring land. The company has already bagged two limestone mines through e-auction.
