About the Company :
Anjani Cements, formerly known as ‘Shez Cements Ltd’ was incorporated in 1983. Its first unit was set up with technical collaboration with Nihon Cement of Japan. Its current cement production capacity is 1600 tpd has more than 100% capacity utilization. It markets its produce under the brand ‘Anjani Gold’.
The company is in talks with Chettinad Cement for sale of its assets and a proposal has been placed with the board in March 2014.
As of December 2016, Anjani Portland has been acquired by Chettinad Cement
