About the Company :
Bagalkot Udyog Ltd, a cement producer erstwhile called as Kanoria Industries till 2005 was incorporated in 1948. It has a cement plant at Bagalkot but has stopped producing cement on account of violation of pollution control norms. The company was declared as a sick unit in 2007 under BIFR. An attempt is being made to hive out a separated company of its cement division to revive it under the rehabilitation
programme.
