Saifco Cements established in the year 1999, has an operating production capacity of 12,000 bags/600 MT of cement/day, up-gradable to a production capacity of 20,000 bags/1,000 MT of cement/day. The plant is equipped with technology from Teheiyo (Nihon). The first of its kind rotary kiln plant in the valley, it manufactures premium 43 &53 Grade Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC)that is supplied to meet the local demand and is also approved by DGS &D, Govt. of India for supply to the Indian defence authorities as well as for construction of major hydro-electric power plants in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
