Adani Cement which belongs to Adani Group is venturing into cement sector by setting up its own cement plant in Maharashtra. The company has acquired land in Shahbaj village in Alibag taluka of Raigad district in Maharashtra. It will set up a 5.0 million tpa cement plant. It is likely to source clinker and fly ash via captive jetty and conveyor /road connectivity to the plant.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 10,000 million.
