Ultratech Cements Ltd is planning to set up a new greenfield cement grinding unit in Meltattapparai and Sikuanpatti in Tuticorin district of Tamil Nadu.
The project involves setting up of Clinker Grinding Unit (2.0 MTPA) with 2 x 6 MW diesel generation set.
The company has acquired the land required for the project of around 91.0 ha and the project may also involve a railway siding
