Ramco Cements is planning to set up a greenfield cement unit in Kavatala village in Kolimiguntla in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up of 2.0 million tpa cement plant with a clinker unit of capacity 3.15 million tpa, a captive power plant of 50 MW ( 2 x 25 MW). The project cost is estimated at Rs. 15000 million which will be spread over two phases. The project will spread over 186.63 ha of land, including a residential colony of 43.72 ha.
